B&T strives to be one of the most efficient and technically accurate companies in our industry. In order to make sure that you get exactly what you need and in the shortest possible delay, please review the details for order placement and processing:
- We require a written order on your company letterhead by fax, showing required quantity, product reference number, product description and unit price. Please present this in form of a table, not as a letter. When ordering based on a B&T quotation, please indicate the quotation number as a reference.
- Together with your order, we need a copy of a valid import license covering the required products or a written statement that you do not need such a permit to import the required goods into your country.
- If the value of your order exceeds EUR 100'000 or your import license does not cover the required goods, you have to provide us an End User Certificate. Attach a copy of the EUC to your fax order and send one original by post. A sample of what a Swiss accepted EUC looks like please download the document titled EUC.pdf.
- All documents may be presented to Swiss export authorities and must be in German, French or English language.
- We select the freight forwarders according to our experience but you are free to organise a pick-up in Thun by your preferred shipping partner or freight company. Please state clearly your shipping instructions on the order. Note: We cannot ship ammunition of any type as postal package!
Please understand that according to Swiss export laws all firearms, spare parts and accessories require an export permit. This includes dual use goods such as .308 bolt action rifles. Please do not ask us to claim something we ship is something that it is not. If you follow these procedures we can have an export license in 3-7 days for an EU country or several weeks for other countries providing the Swiss government allows us this privilege.
